Welcome to our website (hereinafter referred to as the Site). We invite all users who visit the Site and all customers/buyers who purchase our products through the Site (hereinafter Users/Customers) to read our Privacy Policy, which applies while browsing the Site, regardless of the use of the services offered and/or the purchase of products.

By visiting and using the Site to view or purchase Siamoises products, you express your consent to the processing and disclosure of your personal data in the manner described in this statement.


The processing of personal data of Users/Customers of the Site shall be conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, in particular the Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003). We also invite our Users/Customers to read the General Conditions of Use of the Site, as they also contain information on privacy and on the security systems adopted by the Site.


The policy

Each person is entitled to the protection of his/her own personal data. iDesign S.r.l., as autonomous manager, respects the confidentiality of its Users/Customers and their right to be informed about the collection and processing methods of their personal data. The personal data of the Users/Customers (by way of example: Name, Surname, Address, Mail, Telephone number) shall be collected during the registration to the Website, or during the order process or during the contact with the Customer Care. The data will be processed by iDesign S.r.l. in order to allow the registration to the Site, the identification of the Users/Customers, the management of the personal accounts, the collection and the execution of the orders, the delivery of the ordered products, the elaboration of the payments or the supply of a service (such as the assistance of the Customer Care in case of questions or requests of return) and, upon express request, the sending of the newsletter and, more generally, of information and/or material of a commercial or promotional/advertising nature relating to our products, events and services as well as access to promotional or special benefits and initiatives, sales campaigns by e-mail, sms, mms, telephone or postal communications, as well as through subscription to social networks with the necessary management of the relative databases.

This information may also be used to ask for feedback on the Site and the services offered and, in particular, to send surveys to detect and assess the degree of satisfaction of Users/Customers about the quality of the products in order to adapt our communications and commercial offers to the tastes and needs of Users/Customers to make them more interesting and appreciable.

Data relating to Site consultation, navigation and sales may also be collected for statistical purposes and this information may be transferred to selected third parties. Personal data may also be used for internal marketing and studies of purchasing behaviour, together with non-personal data to analyse and profile and monitor Users/Customers' preferences in order to improve our products and services, to better understand what may be of most interest to our Users/Customers.

In addition, for purely statistical purposes, we may also collect data about Users/Customers' browsing and sales, and such information may be transferred to selected third parties.

In addition, for service quality control purposes only and for training purposes, we may monitor or record communications that you send to us.

We expressly exclude any use of data relating to credit cards and, more generally, to means of payment, for purposes other than verifying the existence of means of payment, debiting and managing payments, and handling any complaints and litigation. To this end, the aforementioned data will also be processed by the provider that provides services related to the management of online payments as well as by the institution that issued the credit card used to validate the order.

Who processes the data, how and for what purposes?

iDesign S.r.l. with registered office in Via Helsinki 29 00144 Rome (RM), Italy, fiscal code, VAT number and number of registration with the Companies' Register of Rome 12137741000 is the owner of the personal data of the Users/Customers and processes the data according to the purposes from time to time indicated on the site in the same page in which the data are conferred. The company iDesign S.r.l. is the company that directly sells in its own name the products present on the Site, carrying out among other things the activities of sales management such as administration, collection, delivery of products and customer care. In order to carry out the above mentioned activities iDesign S.r.l. shall process as autonomous data controller and according to the applicable privacy law the users' data such as name and surname, residence and information related to the credit card used by the users (e.g. name and surname of the card holder, number, expiration date, security code).


The processing of personal data of Customers/Users visiting and consulting the Site is limited to navigation data, i.e. data whose transmission to the site is implicit in the operation of the computer systems responsible for managing the Site and in the use of Internet communication protocols. Browsing data include, for example, IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the Site and other parameters relating to the type and operating system used by users. For further information on navigation data please consult the Cookies Policy. iDesign S.r.l. also collects and processes personal data provided voluntarily by the User/Customer or otherwise acquired, even from third parties, during the course of its activity. Personal data may be voluntarily provided by the User/Customer when interacting with the functions of the Site and requesting the services offered by the Site, for example in case of registration to the Site, or initiatives offered through the Site, in case of request of information or informative material to iDesign S. iDesign S.r.l. or by sending a communication to iDesign S.r.l. by traditional mail or through the Site. iDesign S.r.l. may use the personal data of the User/Customer to assert or defend a right in court and to fulfil obligations provided for by laws, regulations and Community legislation.

With the consent of the User/Customer, iDesign S.r.l. may use the personal data of the User/Customer for the purpose of asserting or defending a right in court and to fulfil obligations provided for by laws, regulations and Community legislation.

With the user's consent, which is free and optional, iDesign S.r.l. may process the user's data also for the purpose of defining individual and group profiles (profiling) and for marketing purposes, i.e. to send the User/Customer, also via newsletter, electronic mail (e-mail), sms and mms, information and updates on products and offers, exclusive sales, promotional campaigns and on events and similar initiatives organised by iDesign S. r.l. or in which iDesign S.r.l. participates, including possible invitations to such events. The User/Customer shall always have the possibility to object to the processing of his/her personal data for the purpose of sending promotional information via e-mail; in each communication there shall be a specific section in which the modalities for objecting to the processing and no longer receiving promotional material and information are specified.


In the specific sections of the Site where the data is collected, a specific information notice is published pursuant to Art. 13 of the Privacy Code. When necessary, according to the Privacy Code, iDesign S.r.l. requires the user's consent before proceeding with the processing of personal data.

IDesign S.r.l. decides the purposes and methods of data processing and the instruments to be used also with regard to the security profile.

For exclusively organisational and functional requirements, with purposes strictly connected and related to the provision of services on the Site, the data of Users/Customers may be transmitted to external companies called "Data Processors" who carry out certain activities such as, by way of example but not limited to: the execution of orders, the processing and transmission of orders, the monitoring of payments and the shipment of products sold. These companies have been chosen because they have proved to have skills, experience and reliability, and to provide suitable guarantees in full compliance with the current provisions on the processing of personal data, including the data security profile according to the methods defined with iDesign S.r.l..


The data transmitted to the "Data Processors" will in any case only be those strictly necessary for the performance of their activities. These companies will not be allowed to use the data for other purposes.

Personal data is mainly processed electronically and in some cases also on paper, such as when the processing of data is necessary to prevent fraud on the Site.

Personal data will be stored in a form that allows the identification of Users/Customers within the limits of the law. In order to ensure that personal data is always accurate, up-to-date, complete and relevant, we invite our Customers/Users to report any changes to our Customer Care via the following Form.

Except as otherwise provided herein, personal data will not be disclosed to third parties for purposes that are not permitted by law or without the express consent of our Users/Customers.

The data may be communicated to the police or to the judicial authority, for example within the scope of the anti-fraud services of the Site, in compliance with the law and when required.

iDesign S.r.l. assures that the transfer of personal data to countries not belonging to the European Union which do not ensure an adequate level of protection shall be carried out only after the conclusion of specific contracts between IDesign S.r.l. and said subjects, containing adequate protection clauses for the protection of personal data, in conformity with the law and applicable regulations.

It may happen that IDesign S.r.l. and its affiliated companies transfer personal data to third parties.

It may happen that iDesign S.r.l. treats personal data of third parties communicated directly by their Users/Customers, e.g. when the Users/Customers intend to recommend to a friend a service or a product for sale on the Site or when the Users/Customers purchase a product to be delivered to a friend or when the person who pays the purchase price is different from the person to whom the product is shipped.

In the above cases, iDesign S.r.l. and the Users/Customers may also process personal data of third parties.

In the above mentioned cases the User/Customer is invited to obtain the consent of the person to whom the data refers to before communicating it to iDesign S.r.l., and to inform him/her of this Privacy Policy because he/she will be the one and only responsible for the communication of information and data related to third parties, without their express request, and for their incorrect use or use contrary to the law. In any case, iDesign S.r.l., within the limits of what is prescribed by the regulations, shall fulfil the obligation to inform the user reported and, where necessary, shall request express consent, at the time of registration in its own personal data.


Failure to provide personal data and consequences

iDesign S.r.l., each within its own competence, adopts the necessary security measures in order to reduce to a minimum the risks of destruction or loss, even accidental, of the data, of unauthorized access or treatment not allowed or not conforming to the collection purposes indicated in our Privacy Policy. However, we cannot guarantee that the security measures adopted to protect the Site and the transmission of data and information on the Site will limit or exclude any risk of unauthorised access or loss of data. We therefore invite our Users/Customers to ensure that their computers are equipped with up-to-date antivirus software to protect incoming and outgoing data transmission over the network and that their Internet service provider has adopted firewalls and spam filters or other suitable measures to protect network data transmission.


Right of access to data and contacts

The User/Customer always has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data concerning him/her, even if not yet recorded, and its communication in intelligible form. The User/Customer also has the right to obtain information about the origin of the personal data, the purpose and method of processing, the logic applied in the event of processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments, the identification details of the data controller and data processors, the names of the persons or categories of persons to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of it in their capacity, for example, as data processors or persons in charge of processing. The User/Customer is always entitled to obtain from IDesign S.r.l.:

  • the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of personal data, possibly processed in violation of the law, including those that do not need to be kept for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;
